Truskavets is situated in the valley of the Vorotyshche River and nearby water bodies, surrounded by forested areas at an altitude of 384 meters above sea level.

Near Boryslav lies the world’s only industrially developed ozokerite (mountain wax) deposit, used in medicine and cosmetics.
The unique Truskavets salt “Barbara,” produced from highly mineralized brine, is also extracted here and competes with Karlovy Vary salt.
The community has fertile soils and significant forest resources, which are actively protected and used rationally.
