Mayor of Kazankivska community
The Kazanka community was formed on 29 September 2017 by amalgamating the council of Kazanka with eight neighboring village councils in the Bashtanka region. As of 2022, the community covers an area of 704.48 km² and has a population of around 14,488. It borders communities in Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions to the north and east, and Novobuzka and Volodymyrivka communities within Mykolaiv Oblast to the west and south. The Kazanka community is located about 132 km by road from Mykolaiv and 9 km from the Kazanka railway station. The population density is about 17–17.7 people per km² .
