Krupetska community

About

The Krupetska community was established in December 2017 through the merger of the Krupetska and Polyana village councils. In 2019, the community expanded territorially through the accession of two additional village councils and now encompasses eleven settlements. This expansion has significantly enhanced the community’s capacity for realizing its socio-economic potential.

The community possesses strong resources for both industrial and cultural-tourism development. Thanks to the uniqueness of its natural environment, the territory successfully combines the development of extractive industries with the promotion of green and ecological tourism, agricultural advancement, and the growth of trade networks.

Natural Resources

The community is located in the north of Khmelnytskyi region, on the gently undulating Volyn Upland. The soils within the community are sod-podzolic and grey podzolic. Proper land cultivation enables agricultural development at an appropriate level.

The subsoil of the community is rich in mineral and raw material resources. Proven deposits include construction and ballast sand, cement raw materials, building stone, limestone, carbonate raw materials, as well as red clay. The availability of these resources supports the development of the construction industry in the region. The territory of the community is surrounded by dense forest areas and vast expanses of agricultural land.

Positioning

Due to its convenient geographical location along a regional highway, availability of railway connections, land, water, and forest resources, mineral deposits, as well as a skilled and intellectually capable human capital and a territorially attractive tourist environment, the Krupetska community stands out as one of the most appealing and promising partners for productive and profitable cooperation with potential strategic investors and partners.

Geography & Logistics

The Krupetska community, with its administrative center in the village of Krupets, is located in western Ukraine, in the northern part of Khmelnytskyi region. It is situated 422 km from the capital city of Kyiv, 125 km from the regional center Khmelnytskyi, 92 km from the city of Rivne, and only 21 km from the district center, the city of Shepetivka. The community shares borders with the urban communities of Netishyn and Slavuta, as well as with the Ulashanivska and Hannopil rural communities.

A regional highway, R-05 (Horodyshche – Sarny – Rivne – Starokostiantyniv), passes through the Krupetska community. The total length of the highway is 297.5 km, of which 9.4 km runs through the community. The territory of the community is also served by a railway line, with a railway station located in Kolom’ye, providing additional logistical advantages.

Local Business

Two major enterprises operate within the territory of the Krupetska community: PJSC Slavuta Malt Plant, which specializes in malt production, and LLC Soufflet Agro Ukraine, engaged in wholesale trade of grain, unprocessed tobacco, seeds, and animal feed. The community has a well-developed sand mining industry, represented by four quarries of various forms of ownership: LLC Hirnyk VV, PE Yavir-Invest, ME Slavuta Sand Quarry, and LLC Krupets Sand Quarry.

Agriculture is represented by enterprises such as PE LAN, LLC Akris Agro, LLC Akris Agro Group, LLC Horyn Agro Plus, LLC VIN AGRO PLUS, and PE Krupets, which are engaged in the cultivation of agricultural crops. Small businesses are predominantly represented by trade enterprises engaged in the sale of food and non-food products.
