Our small community is more than just a point on the map of Ukraine. It is comprised of individuals who know how to work hard, from enhancing public spaces to organizing large-scale events, such as the gastronomic festival Liubashivka – Capital of Ukrainian Sausage.
Today, we take pride in the fact that despite difficult times, our local economy is growing: 8 new businesses were opened in a year, creating 39 new jobs.
But our greatest strength is the belief that nothing is impossible. When we started reviving local traditions five years ago, many said: “It’s pointless.” Today, Liubashivka is a local brand with a history, known far beyond the borders of the Odesa region. This community brand has successfully secured its place in the Ukrainian market and continues to grow year after year.

About Us
The Liubashivska community is a progressive and dynamic region in the Podilskyi district of the Odesa region, established on February 8, 2018. The amalgamation of 43 settlements with a total population of more than 11,500 people has allowed the formation of a community with rich cultural and economic potential. The administrative center is the village of Lyubashivka, where 43% of the community's residents live.
The community covers an area of 834.7 km², and its favorable geographical location at the crossroads of international transport routes creates prerequisites for economic growth. The Liubashivska community offers modern infrastructure, active support for businesses and investors, as well as a wide range of natural and human resources for effective development.
Natural Resources
The Liubashivska community is rich in natural resources, offering unique opportunities for the development of agriculture and tourism. The soil is predominantly fertile black soil (chernozem), which ensures high potential for agricultural production. Water resources are represented by numerous ponds and rivers, including the Kodima, Chychykliya, and Tylihul rivers.
The community’s human resource comprises over 19,000 residents, 60% of whom are economically active. Thanks to the diligence of the population and well-developed infrastructure, the community creates favorable conditions for business development and improving the quality of life. Electricity, water supply, and gas infrastructure cover all settlements, ensuring stability and comfort.
Position
The Liubashivka community of Podilskyi district, Odesa region, has its administrative center in the urban-type settlement of Liubashivka. The community benefits from convenient road access, including the major Kyiv–Odesa M05 highway, and railway service via Liubashivka station. The distance from the center of the community to Kyiv is 313 km, to the regional center Odesa – 165 km, and to the district center Podilsk – 86 km. The minimum distance from the community’s settlements to the center, Liubashivka, is 5.8 km, and the maximum is 32 km.
The population of the community is 19,101 people, 60% of whom are economically active. The area is rich in natural resources such as rivers, ponds, and agricultural land. Agricultural production is well developed, and infrastructure continues to improve, with new trade facilities—both small businesses and large chains—creating additional employment opportunities. The community has experience in international cooperation, notably through participation in the British Council's “Active Citizens” program, focused on intercultural dialogue and social development among youth. Six projects have been successfully implemented.
Geography & Logistics
Liubashivka community enjoys a strategically advantageous location at the intersection of key transport routes: M05 (Kyiv–Odesa), M13 (Kropyvnytskyi–Platonove), and R75 (Tymkove–Oleksandriia). The presence of the Liubashivka railway station, served by both regional and long-distance trains, further strengthens the community’s logistical capabilities.
Located 165 km from Odesa and just 110–147 km from the nearest seaports, the community offers strong connectivity. All settlements are accessible via paved roads, ensuring reliable access across the territory. These logistical advantages create favorable conditions for freight transportation, trade, logistics, and tourism development.
Business Sector
More than 200 enterprises of various forms of ownership operate within the territory of the Liubashivka community. In the agricultural sector, 182 entities are engaged in farming activities, including 66 agricultural enterprises and 116 private farms. Among the largest are: PE "Obrii", PE "Novokarbivske", PE "Osnova-2", LLC "Tiligul", LLC "Scientific and Production Enterprise Agro-Rytm", PE "Shevchenko", PE "Universal", Agricultural Production Cooperative "Agrosvit", LLC "Kiper-Agro", and LLC "Pivdenna Zhytnytsia". The primary focus is on the cultivation of grain and industrial crops. In the food industry, a key player is PE "VKF Odesa-Khlib M", while in the transport and storage sector, PRJSC "Liubashivka Elevator" plays a significant role.
