Monastyryshchensk urban territorial community is located in the Uman district of Cherkasy region with the administrative center in the city of Monastyryshche. The community covers 41 settlements, including the city of Monastyryshche, the village of Tsybuliv and 39 villages, including Avramivka, Bachkuryne, Vladyslavchyk, Ivakhny, Kopiyuvata, Leskove, Popudnia, Satanivka and others. The total area of the community is 719.2 km², and the population is 34,413 people.

Monastyryshche communityIrpin was founded in 1899 as a railway station on the Kyiv-Kovel line. The town quickly grew, and by the early 20th century, it was a popular resort destination for Kyiv residents. In 1939, Irpin was granted city status.
In 2022, Irpin was one of the cities that was heavily damaged during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The city was occupied by Russian forces for several weeks, and many of its residents were killed or displaced. However, Irpin was eventually liberated by Ukrainian forces, and it is now in the process of being rebuilt.
