Petrivka-Romenska community

About us

Petrivka‑Romenska community is a modest but cohesive territorial community in Myrhorod district of Poltava region. It preserves rural traditions and a strong connection to land, providing a stable basis for agricultural development. We strive to ensure comfortable living conditions for residents: improving infrastructure, accessing services, and preserving local resources and traditions.

The community has growth potential thanks to fertile land, people’s labor, and the will to develop. We are open to initiatives, partnerships, and support from public and private entities to improve quality of life and stability.

Geography & Logistics

The community is located in a part of Poltava region with direct access to the district center Myrhorod and regional center Poltava, which is crucial for mobility, trade, and social services. Thanks to the proximity to Veneslavivka railway station (about 1.5 km), the community has basic transport connectivity with the region and central Ukraine.

This level of logistic access creates the basis for transporting goods, agricultural produce, and developing trade and small businesses even without large industry. It allows residents to stay and work on their land while being connected to broader markets.

Natural Resources

The community’s territory includes arable lands and agricultural areas historically used for growing grains, vegetables, and technical crops. Chernozem soils and favorable climate conditions make these lands suitable for stable agricultural production.

Additionally, natural conditions and low population density allow preservation of ecological components — water bodies, nature and ecosystems, which can be a foundation for small‑scale farming or ecological projects.

Positioning

Petrivka‑Romenska community has the chance to be an example of a rural community where agriculture, comfortable living, and good logistic connectivity are combined. Thanks to available resources, transport and land, the community can attract entrepreneurs, farmers and initiatives working with land.

We are open to development, adaptation, and modernization — ready to grow the agro‑sector, support local initiatives, and collaborate with government and businesses for joint growth.

Local Business

In the community there are already farming households and rural production that provide basic economic activity. People work the land, grow crops and support their livelihoods.

Potential directions are expanding agro‑processing, farming, small manufacturing, and rural or ecological initiatives. This approach can ensure community sustainability and create new jobs.
