The Kodyma community is an active participant in numerous development programs implemented in cooperation with international partners. Thanks to the support of organizations such as USAID, GIZ, and UNICEF, projects are being implemented here that include infrastructure modernization, improvement of conditions in education and social policy. This creates new opportunities for residents and ensures sustainable development of the region.
The community has everything necessary for the development of modern industrial parks. Land plots with a favorable location, access to railways and roads of national importance, as well as the availability of utilities open up prospects for the creation of production facilities in the field of agro-processing, biofuels, and other industries. The community is ready to support investors at every stage of their projects.

About Us
Kodyma community
The Kodymska urban territorial community, founded on December 8, 2020, is located in the northwest of Odesa region. Its area is 703 km² and the population is 25.3 thousand people, including internally displaced persons. The community unites 21 settlements and has 10 starosta districts.
Our mission is to create a comfortable environment for living and working. We are working to make the community a model of sustainable development, with effective governance, active citizens, and strong infrastructure. The community’s investment potential is based on its advantageous geographic location, natural resources, and human capital.
Economic potential of the community
Kodyma community
The Kodyma community is the center of economic activity in the region, with more than 1,200 enterprises, including 55 farms. The economy is based on agriculture and industry, including woodworking, food processing, and printing.
The key taxpayers are enterprises engaged in agricultural processing and resource extraction. The community has two elevators with a total storage capacity of up to 60 thousand tons of grain. In addition, dairy production and fruit juice production are successfully developing.

The Kodymska community has a favorable transport location, as it is located at the intersection of two state highways and railways connecting Odesa, Kyiv, Uzhhorod and other regions. The proximity to international checkpoints with Moldova provides additional opportunities for trade.
The community is provided with an extensive network of internal roads, which simplifies access to settlements. Regular bus routes and a railway station facilitate the development of passenger and freight transportation, which is important for business and investment.

The community has 54 reservoirs with a total area of 180.9 hectares, as well as significant forests that cover 18% of the territory. Most of the forests are oak and ash, which create favorable conditions for tourism and recreation.
In addition, the community is rich in natural resources, including limestone deposits and mineral water springs. The limestone reserves and water quality open up prospects for industrial development, including the production of building materials and mineral water bottling.
Human capital and strategic opportunities

70% of the community's residents are able-bodied, of whom 63% have higher education or vocational training. The main professions are specialists in education, medicine, social services and construction.
The Northern Center for Vocational Education operates in the community, which trains skilled workers for the agricultural and technical industries. The combination of an educated workforce, average wages and favorable working conditions makes the community attractive to investors and strategic partners.
