Hannopilska community

About

Hannopil Community (Amalgamated Hromada) was established on August 13, 2015, through the unification of seven village councils: Hannopil, Malyi Sknyt, Velykyi Sknyt, Dovzhky, Khoniaky, Klepachi, and Kylykyiv. Our community was one of the first in Ukraine to actively support the decentralization reform, which opened the way for investment attraction and infrastructure development. Today, the community includes 16 settlements, covers an area of 19,949.9 hectares, and has a population of 6,147 residents, including 73 internally displaced persons.

Natural Resources

Located within the Volyn Upland, the Hannopil Community lies predominantly on a slightly undulating plain. Geographically, the community is situated in the Polissia Lowland, with absolute altitudes reaching up to 240 meters. The most widespread soils are chernozems (covering up to 85% of the territory), dark gray podzolic soils, and podzolized chernozems. The natural resources of the area are highly favorable for the development of renewable energy sources, especially solar "green" energy.

The climate is moderately continental, with mild winters (average January temperature of -5.6°C) and warm, humid summers (average July temperature of +18.6°C). Annual precipitation ranges from 500 to 670 mm, with about 70% falling during the warm season.

Position

Convenient logistics, a population of 6,147 residents — 56% of whom are economically active — along with the availability of natural resources (water, land, forests), well-developed agricultural production and processing make the community an attractive partner for economic cooperation.

Geography & Logistics

Hannopil Community, with its administrative center in the village of Hannopil, is located in the western part of Ukraine, in the northern area of Khmelnytskyi Oblast. The state highway T-18-04 (Korets–Slavuta–Antoniny) passes through the territory of the Hannopil Community, with a total length of 108 km, of which 9.3 km runs directly through the community. The territory also includes 51.5 km of local public roads and 84 km of municipally managed roads.
