About Us

The main natural asset of the Podilsk territorial community is its land resources, predominantly represented by fertile black soils with high natural productivity. Combined with a temperate continental climate, this provides strong agro-industrial potential favorable for cultivating a wide range of valuable crops such as wheat, barley, sunflower, corn, and others. The presence of water resources covering a total area of 27 hectares offers opportunities for the development of aquaculture. Additionally, the natural conditions are well-suited for expanding livestock farming, horticulture, berry cultivation, and beekeeping.

Natural Resources

The Podilsk Community, located in a strategically important area on Ukraine’s southwestern border, offers favorable conditions for international economic cooperation. Convenient transportation is ensured by the intersection of major road and railway routes, providing access to both domestic and international markets—particularly through proximity to major seaports in Odesa region and Chisinau International Airport. The community possesses significant economically active potential, supported by the availability of free agricultural and industrial land plots, as well as natural resources conducive to the development of the agro-industrial and processing sectors.

Key advantages for strategic partners include the active development of the Podilsk Industrial Park (with a total area of 31 hectares) and the Southern Eco-Industrial Park (covering 37.4 hectares), offering new production sites with preferential conditions for investors. In addition, the community demonstrates strong commitment to environmental safety, including plans for the construction of a modern waste recycling plant using plasma gasification technology. Aiming for sustainable development, the Podilsk community seeks to implement advanced European expertise by adopting best international practices. The local government is open to cooperation, ready to support innovative projects, and dedicated to creating a favorable investment climate for mutually beneficial development.

Geography & Logistics

The central location of Podilsk on the southwestern border of Ukraine, at the intersection of key railway and road routes connecting Kyiv and Odesa and providing access to the countries of Southeastern Europe, determines the city’s strategic importance on the map of Ukraine as a major logistics, industrial, and commercial hub. Podilsk is a significant railway and road junction in southern Ukraine along the Kyiv–Odesa route. Eight production units of the regional branch “Odesa Railway” of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” operate within the community. The Podilsk station provides railway connections to major destinations such as Przemyśl (Poland), Kyiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Kovel, Uzhhorod, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Izmail, and Dnipro, which offers favorable conditions for attracting new investments and developing high-tech industries, further enhancing the community’s economy and creating new jobs.

The community’s extensive transportation infrastructure includes regional highways that connect to the international route E584 and a developed railway network, featuring powerful locomotive and wagon depots. Proximity to major logistics hubs—such as the seaports of Odesa and Chornomorsk, as well as the airports of Chisinau and Odesa—opens up wide opportunities for efficient cargo delivery and the establishment of international trade connections.

Business Sector

The economy of the Podilsk community is distinguished by its well-developed industrial, agricultural, and transportation sectors, as well as an extensive financial and social infrastructure. The community’s annual budget revenues are steadily increasing, reaching nearly UAH 545 million, with over UAH 430 million generated from own-source revenues—an indicator of its financial independence and economic vitality. Several industrial enterprises operate within the community, including: LLC “PANDA”, LLC “Podilsk Grain Processing Enterprise”, Structural Unit No.1 – Podilsk Bread Factory of LLC “Odesa Bread Factory No.4”, PE “Algis-K”, LLC “KVZ Winemaking Plant”, LLC “Ukrainian Alcohol Company ‘Kristal’”, PJSC “Podilsk Furniture Factory”, LLC “Kotovsky Asphalt Plant”, LLC “PODILLYA-BUDSERVICE”, PE “EUROSTYLE-N”, and LLC “Odesa”. In the agricultural sector, 25 business entities are engaged in economic activities within the community, including 11 farms, 5 agricultural enterprises, 4 private companies, and 5 sole proprietorships.
