One of the unique features of the Volochysk community is its multinational historical heritage, which was formed at the intersection of cultures and traditions of Western Ukraine and Central Europe. Here, architectural elements, cultural monuments and local customs have been preserved, combining Ukrainian, Polish, Jewish and Austrian influences, creating a unique atmosphere of the region.
Another feature is the active participation of the community in energy saving and environmental development projects. Volochysk became one of the first cities in the region to introduce modernization of heating and street lighting systems using energy-efficient technologies. This allows not only to reduce costs, but also to create a model of sustainable development for other communities.
