Volochysk urban territorial community is located in Khmelnytskyi district of Khmelnytskyi region, with the administrative center in the city of Volochysk. It was formed on August 13, 2015 by merging the Volochysk city council and several village councils. The community covers an area of 619.7 km² and includes 53 settlements: the city of Volochysk and 52 villages. As of 2020, the population of the community was 35,806 people.

Volochyska communityIrpin was founded in 1899 as a railway station on the Kyiv-Kovel line. The town quickly grew, and by the early 20th century, it was a popular resort destination for Kyiv residents. In 1939, Irpin was granted city status.
In 2022, Irpin was one of the cities that was heavily damaged during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The city was occupied by Russian forces for several weeks, and many of its residents were killed or displaced. However, Irpin was eventually liberated by Ukrainian forces, and it is now in the process of being rebuilt.
